Sue Beck Ryan is a multi-media Artist, Educator, Designer and Art Director who received her M.A.T. in Arts and Sciences from the University of Wyoming. She has exhibited many murals and works in the U.S. and abroad, and is currently traveling as an Artist in Residence and Community Muralist in Central America.
As an Educator, Sue taught with the Navajo, Hopi, and Apache tribes and also in Japan, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
In tandem with the United Way, Sue developed and taught at an art studio that gave the joy of silk painting to disabled adults.
As a Theatrical Art Director, Sue has designed sets and helmed numerous Set/Painting/Design crews for award-winning regional theaters.
Recently, Sue was showcased and earned acclaim on the Costa Rican History Channel for her work on community murals with children. Her mural designs in Nicaragua have been seen on HGTV's "House Hunters International".
